Bristow began his career in oil and gas with Encana in 2006. He worked as a reservoir engineer on the Foster Creek SAGD project. He was exposed to the fundamentals of SAGD through his work in reservoir modeling and wellbore hydraulics.
In 2009, Bristow joined MEG Energy as a production engineer working to bring on Phase 2 of the Christina Lake project. In 2012 he transitioned to a strategic planning role, coordinating the corporate budgeting process.
Bristow joined Pengrowth in 2017 as an exploitation engineer on the Lindbergh SAGD project. His responsibilities include production forecasting and corporate modeling, planning and budgeting, facility debottlenecking and well tie-ins.
Bristow earned a Bachelor Degree in Science, Bachelor Degree in Engineering and recently completed his Master of Business Administration Degree.
